Can I apply for H1 visa with 485 pending

I am now working at an university with my EAD based on 485 pending.
Questions:
1. Do I need to apply for H1 visa???
2.Can my H1 visa application be approved if the application is made.
3. Will the H1 visa application affact 485 aproval??
