Urgent: I-140: change petition type after submission.

Hello experts,

My lawyer has submitted my I-140 petition to the USCIS. She checked the petition type "outstanding professors or researchers". However, I believe I am not an outstanding professor/researcher, although I am holding a Ph.D. and teaching in a university. Can I (or my lawyer) call USCIS to change my petition type to EB2?

By the way, PERM was approved before submitting I-140.
