绿卡申请过程中的限速步骤

本人的绿卡申请现在卡在name check了，据说最长的有等三年的。我也曾到local FBI office问过，得到的回答是：There are big backlog, nothing they can do just wait. 我也在网上看了很多有关name check 的介绍，以及周围朋友的情况，我觉得，不只１０％的人被manual check。而排期只是移民局转移大家的视线方法，真正的问题在name check上，由于name check花费了太长的时间而造成大量案件的积压, 记得刚开始排期的时候，很多组织发起过联名上书的活动进行呼吁，希望也有人能组织一下对name check进行一下改革。因为如果某人真的犯过罪或是恐怖份子，他会利用各种手段更名换姓而不被查到，而真正坦然的让FBI去check的都是清白的。
