question aout I-485 after calling USCIS for service inquiry.

My lawyer and I contacted the USCIS several times about our I-485 that has been current since htis month. The reprenstative told me that they will send a service inquiry for us. Almost one month has passed, only my hu*****and's I-485 was updated with the information that a response letter has been mailed out on June 26, 2006 upon our request of service. There is not any change on my I-485. I am the principle applicant.It is weired. Does any one know the reason? Thanks
