Hello, May I consult some questions regarding the H-1 visa?

I had applied J1 visa in Beijing (I actually live in Singapore) and got rejection. Now the US university is processing H1 visa for me. I am quite worrying if the H1 petition would be influenced by the former J1 rejection? and if the H1 petition is ok, should I still need to apply the visa stamp in Beijing? and is it possible to be rejected again? Thanks very much.
