question about EAD application

I filed EAD application to Vermont center on December 12. I haven't received the receipt notice yet. I asked International Office in my univ. and called INS. They both told me that, because of the holidays, the mail could be delayed.

Is there anyone got EAD from Vermont center recently? When did you file the application?
