结婚怎么办办绿卡

请教一下这里的朋友. 要和男朋友结婚了, 他是美国公民. 请问结婚后怎么办绿卡? 需要请律师吗?还是自己办? 多久能办下来?可以马上工作吗? 有没有什么条件需要符合? 多谢了.
