xiaobaitu and other expert: EB1 and EAD card for spouse

My friend will apply EB1, since the EB1 is current, so he can file I-140 and 485 together,right? and can he apply the EAD card for his wife at the same time? or he need wait 1-140 to be approved and then applys the AD card for his wife?
