Thanks. The problem is: I just came back from china last week with AP when my h-1B extension is pending. INS sent REF and asked which consulate i wanted to apply h-1b visa stamp. I'm using EAD card now. Do you think i can still come back h-1b?

The lawyer in our university suggested to leave US again before the deadline INS gave (they wanted me to apply before Aug 26).
