H1 Transfer Urgent: Help Please!!

My case: H1-B transfer filed yesterday under premium processing. E-mail receipt is expected to be received tomorrow. I want to give two weeks notice to my current employer tomorrow, however, I am only planning to stay on the current job until this Friday, but use my vacation time to fill the balance of the two week. I plan to start with the new employer next Monday.

My question: Because I am still taking pay for the next two weeks from my current employer, and I am going to take pay from my new employer as well, is it legal? any potentioal trouble? The lawyer who prepared my case wasted too much time, I really desire to start with the new company as soon as possible.
