Don't know too much about intern.. As long as you work for a US company oversea branch over a year you should be qualified. L1B is pretty easy to be approved. If I remember correctly, Blank L1 takes less time - a little over a month.

Basically if your lawyer says yes i don't think there is any difficulty.
