F2 entry ? Please help!

Hi,
I am on F1 OPT now, already got H1B approved, will be effective in March this year. My wife also applied H4 with me, but she left US during application, however she got approved for H-4 after she left US, Could she come in US with F2 status before March this year(my H1B effective date)? anyone has same experience before?
