OPT training help

I applied for OPT training and got the receit from INS on Nov. 3. I graduated last year and will start working in Jan but I am afraid that I can not get paid due to the absence of my OPT approval. Could any one tell me whether or not there is certain shortcut way for me to get the paper work done as soon as possible. Such like drive to somewhere and get a temperory one? So many thanks in advance.
