I graduated in May, 2005, and my OPT card shows an expiration date of July,28th,2006. I've applied for H1b which， if approved, will start from Oct.1st.

My question is: do I still have the 2-month grace period after July to stay legally in the US? If luckily, I have the 2-month period, it will last till Sept.28th. Does it mean that I have 2-day [9.29/9.30] lap in my status? If yes, what should I do?

Also, Can I work for the company without pay during the months of August and September?
