When I filed I485, my wife was F1 with RA. After she graduated, she got a job and work with EAD. She didn't apply OPT. One year later, both of us got GC. So I think 你的打算现实.

You can apply EAD earlier, then you don't need to transfer to H4. To my understanding if you use EAD, your H4 will not be valid any more, so why bother transfer to it.
