My immigration petition under NIW has been approved and I have applied for adjustment of status. But I lost my job in December. I would appreciate it if you could answer me some questions:

1. Do I have to work in the field on which my immigration petition was based?
2. Can I use my EAD card for an unrelated field, such as being a waiter? If I do so, how will it affect my adjustment application?
3. If I can not find any job for a very long time, will my adjustment application be declined?
