For the type of I-94 that visitors fill out themself on airplane into the port of entry:
entry date is a red-ink stamp by Chicago CBP (on passport visa page and on I-94)
but valid until (on I-94) should be hand-writing by the officer inspecting your mother. Also, the admission class should also be in hand-writing: B2
