Xiaobaitu and mytwocents, please help: I-140 consolidated with

I got stuck at CSC. After inquiry, my lawyer got response from USCIS, my I-140 case is consolidated in my file with I-485, and is currently waiting for the security check report. Does that mean I may have to wait like a year to know my 140 result? Then when should I file my wife's I-485? Did you this ever happen to anybody? Anyone can make some comments? Thanks.
