More question about B2 visa

My father is going to apply for a visa to come to USA using my invitation letter. My brother is also in USA. I don't know if my father should tell the officers he has two sons and both of them are in the USA. If my father tells them the truth, will the immigration officers think my father has a trend to live in the USA forever?
