I think Xiao Baitu is right. The whole purpose of the inspection is to verify two things. 1. if you I485 is still pending. 2. u r "the applicant".

Also, in my previous posting regarding my experience of using AP, I forgot to post one question I was asked by the officer in the waiting room. He asked me what the last four digits of my social security number is. He asked this question to almost every body.
