Perm application documents?

my company starts to prepare Perm app for me(MS,2+ high tech corp exper in US,VOIP application engineer, >prevailing wage).

one of docs i needed to provide is any "work experience letter".

I ever worked in other country for several yrs, how do I prepare these letters? to write by myself or must be provided by the companies i worked before? Thanks in adavance.
