I did send an inquiry to the INS office last October,

but they replied with a standard letter saying they could not offer any specific reply. They also said they did not reply to any further inquiry.

My wife got the final approval in late September (we had the interviews on the same day) and went to the oath ceremony in October. So it is really peculiar that it takes so long for my case.
