Can this be remedied?

Due to ignorance of myself, the HR and the attorney, I applied for Skilled Labor certification and got approved. I didn't know that labor certifications have different types and would determine whether I can apply for EB2 or EB3. Is there anything that can be done to remedy this without going through the whole process again. My LC was submitted last October.
My job posting didn't require master degrees although I have two master's degrees.
