Dear Xiaobaitu: according to your response to Sunshine_r, a divorce certificate from China is invalid if both parties are in the US even though they got married in China and both are Chinese citizen. Could you please provide the orignal citation of the US divorce law or the resource at where we can check? I don't quite understand. Both US and China should respect the court's decision in either country. Thanks a lot!
