Do I have to transfer to another USCIS center?

I am teaching in a university in OK and have found a similar position in CA. My I-485 is pending (submitted in Sept. 2005) and I-140 (OR) has been approved. My questions are:

1. Can my case stay in TSC instead of being transfered to CSC?
2. Are there any potential problems for case transfer?
3. Is there a to-do-list for H1 transfer such as changing address?
