Do I need change H4 to F1? Thanks.

Good afternoon, everyone.

I am holding H4 visa now and I will graduate next May with a BS degree on Nursing.
My question is “Do I need change H4 to F1 right now?” So that I can get OPT for working.
I heard I can stay with H4 and transfer visa toH1 directly once I find a job. In that case, I do not need OPT, so I do not need change to F1. What should I do? Is that easy to change H4 to H1? Can any friend here give me some advice? Thank you very much.
