我应该怎么办?F1--F2被句!

I was on my vacation quarter (9/8/05-1/2/06) and sent my application form on 12/17/05, and received a receipt from INS on 12/19/05. I received a letter yesterday that said my application was denied because my F1 status has expried on Nov 23, 2005. But, my F1 status should still be held at least till 1/2/06. Is it possible for INS to correct their mistake? Thanks for your reply!

我刚去过学校,学校也觉得很奇怪,这十一月二十三就过期的日子是怎么来的呢?
还有信里说,我是02 年的某月某日以F1的身份来的美国,实际上,我是F2来的,而且,这日期还有错误(与我的I-94里记录的不相符合)
我们学校说,看来INS的日期是有错误的,但是,他们也不感保证INS会批准我的新身份F2.
