You should submit your baby's information and the application fee as soon as possible if you want your case to be processed without any delay. However, your case might have been put aside waiting for your complete updates on your baby's information.

Don't let your baby's ID photos and passport delay your application. You can get your baby's ID photo in Walmart and apply passport in a Post Office. If you don't want to go out for your baby's ID photo, you can go to http://www.usamums.com/idphoto.html to get the ID photos. I got my daughter's ID photos for US passport and Canada Immigration!
