Her application for H4 visa is still fine, as far as you H1 is still valid.

But the 140 should have nothing to do with her, it is all your application. So, as far as you are still here and answer the RFE, she should have nothing to do with it. (Except, you have to cook and clean by yourself, she cannot help on that when in China ;-)
