Will this invalid I140? Please advice

My university filed I140 (OR) for me in 2004, and approved in Oct. 2005. Right now, I can not file my I485 because the visa number is not available. Now if I change my job and work in another Department of the same university, will this change invalid my I-140? Can I use this I140 to file I-485 in the future if I still work in the same university (but in different department) by that time? Or should I file a new I140 after I switch to new department?
