Please help:Birth certificate---GC Interview

Many thanks in advance.

I got a notice from INS for the marriage based GC interview. They ask us to bring my hu*****and's birth certificate for the interview. He doesn't have one and it's almost impossible we can get one before the interview. He is a citizen and has a naturalization certificate. My question is:

Will his US passport and naturalization be good enough for the interview? Do we have to have his birth certificate for the interview? Really worrying about that. Please help with your kind advice. I appreciate.
