I think you are knowledeable and correct. I just wanted to confirm that. I read from an Immigration attorney's web page that as long as you don't change emloyer (after you get in), you can still keep the H1B status even you use AP to re-enter the US. The problem is AP will only be valid for a year so I will have to apply the H1B visa after than if I want to travel abroad again. Do you know if one can get second AP before 485 is approved? Thanks for your input..
