I saw your poster about O-1 visa. My hu*****and has just got one. He didn't hand in any peer reviews. The lawyer also asked him for that but since it looked very difficult, he just gave it up. So I guess it is not as important as what your lawyer described. But you'd better have some strong references, especially from people who appear important or influencial.
