no need to renew her H4!

I have same question for my son's H4 extension. The instruction of form I-539(which is used for H1's family member to extend their status) says no need to do that if you do,will be denied once their I-140 and I-485 on pending or approved. Since the purpose to extend the H4 is staying in United States, I-140 and I-485 on pending or approved let them can stay in United States.
