I live in Maryland, file I-140 and I-485 to Vermont center. After I registered with USCIS website, I got 'Case status update' emails saying that my I-485 has been approved and then another email notice said that 'On February 28, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

I just had my finger print done around Oct. 2005. I did not had any interview.
Is this what you are talking about?
