Canada Job Seeking

I'm considering applying for a Canada Green Card (Skilled Worker Immigration), about the job seeking, I'm wondering:

Is it possible to look for jobs in Canada while I'm in US? if possible, how hard would it be? I have an US master degree (Computer Science) and have being working as an IT professional for more than 5 years in US.
