xiaobaitu/mytwocents, please help with salary in perm Ads,

Dear all,

I have question about putting the salary in perm Ads. My attorney thinks it is better to put my salary in the perm ad to disencourage people apply. However, my concern is my salary is not high (low enough to disencourage applicants), if it is lower than the prevailing wage (I am not sure), would that affect my future applications? Also, I am working in a university, can the attorney argue the prevailing wage with the DOL as university pays less than industry?
