How to keep my Permanent Resident Status?

I am working in USA right now and wondering if I still can keep my PR status.

The following is my information: I landed on Toronto on Oct. 2001. But I only stayed in Canada 30 days in the last 4 years, because I studied and worked in USA. In 2002, I got my Returning Resident Permit and it was valid until March 2004.
