haven't get receipt for 28days

My attoney submit a I-140 and I-485 package for me to TSC in Feb, 3, 2006. I received I-140 receipt within same week! but I haven't receive my I-485 receipt yet,the Lawyer has sent out request letter for two weeks. and the checks have not been cashed till now. How Can I do? thanks
