Urgent help, please

My friend(principle applicant) died suddenly, NIW and EB-1(outstanding researcher) approved already, 485 pending, Is it still possible for his spouse(H4, no job) and kids(they are all in US now) to to get their 485 approved? Or they need go back to China right away?
