connection among AP, H1b, and wife's EAD

H1b with 485 pending

If I use AP to travel, it will terminate my H1b. So I have to work with EAD.

If my wife use her EAD to work, it will terminate her H4 and my H1b. So I will also need EAD.

Is this right? Please help
