I have some same situation as you. I came US in 1999 as F-2, and then changed my visa into F-1, OPT, until now as H1B.I also have not seen my family (in China) for 7 years. Therefore, I decide to go back to China in the new year, 2006.
Could you tell me what material I should prepare for getting a H1B visa from the US embassy in China? In addition, what is the I-979 form?
