once 1-year OPT based EAD approved, the period is fixed. The graduation time is up to your academic department. International center should help with your visa status if your department/advisor decides to delay your graduation. EAD is still valid if you keep your F1 status, which means you must maintain a full-time student and work no more than 20 hours/week during the semester UNTIL you graduate officially. After graduation, no full-time student limit or work hour cap anymore.
