help:J1 to F1

一朋友的孩子,中国高一学生,现国际交流学生(高三或四).现得到一大学offer和部分奖学金.没有高中文凭和TOLEF成绩.她现持J1, 一年有效.现想在美换J1 成F1,不知有否可能?
因担心回国签不成.如回国, 有没把握再回来? 请大虾们帮忙!1!
