I had the similar situation as well. The up side is this experience made me realize that you can not marry someone in your dream who you just communicate with phone, emails without mind chat, been through ups and downs in the life physically together.That relationship is so easy to break up and won't last long.

Having the comparision, I realize how stupid I was to leave my ex ex wife who is truly my soul mate knows me better than anyone. We ended up remarried a year ago.

Sometimes we made mistakes. But it is never too late than never.
