Tricky question on AP and I-485

I filed I-485 2 yrs ago and then an AP. The AP was approved but the I-485 was rejected later by mistake. Then I filed another I-485 which is still pending. My question is: is my AP still valid? The AP has never been used and I am in valid H-1B status. I can only see my alien # on the AP but not the I-485 number. In the application form for AP there was no I-485 number either. Do I need to apply for a new AP based on the later I485 or the former AP is still OK?
