Travel to Canade

Our family wants to travel to Canade to visit our nephew, I read the news from some chinese immgration website, it said whatever the current status you are(H, J or F), if you just travel and come back to America within 30 days, you don't need visa, is this ture?
Can anybody give me some suggestion? (our status is H-1, F-1, H-4).
