NIW, should I mention research on weapon program?

Appreciate any experience in advance.

I am planning to file NIW. Currently I am doing research in a military stitute and conducting research on a weapon program and one another industry technology. If I mention my research on weapon program, is it good for my application as NIW or not?

Any one have similar experience? Appreicate very much for your suggestion.
