请教一个入籍表格填写问题

N-400, Part7. Time outside the United States.

A, How many total days did you spend outdie of the United States during the past five years?

问题是问5年的，但是因为我是婚姻绿卡，在美国才3年，请问要把来美国之前的日子也计算进去吗？ 还是从拿到绿卡后开始算？
