It is normal?

Two years ago, I swiched from Canada Paper green card to Maple green card, now I am in China. I checked the my immigration status through CIC website before I enter to Canada again, it comes out saying "no information is found", is it normal? or my green card is not valid/ or even canceled by immigration office? Thanks a lot in advance.
